About the event
We are surrounded by numbers, some obvious and in plain sight, others less obvious or hidden. One example from antiquity is the golden ratio, beloved of architects and mathematicians, among others. In this talk, I’ll highlight some of my favourite numbers (including the golden ratio) and explain the role they play in the world around us.
